July 1999 YANGAROO incorporated (originally named Musicrypt.com Inc.)
June 2000 Biometric technology exclusive license obtained.
November 2000 Agreement with Meganet Corporation of Encino, CA, to integrate Meganet's Virtual Matrix Encryption (VME) algorithm into YANGAROO's secure Digital Rights Management (DRM) applications.
Feb 2003 Successfully completed streaming and downloading trials of DMDS between EMI Music Canada (EMI) and Standard Broadcasting's Toronto FM radio station, Mix 99.9. The testing included internal on-line streaming between EMI/VIRGIN Head office and branches in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax.
Feb 26, 2003 Closed Initial Public Offering.
May 2003 Music history was made at 12:55 PM ET, Tuesday May 20, 2003 when, for the first time, a major record company completed the delivery of music files securely from recording studio to record label to radio stations across Canada via the Internet using YANGAROO’s Digital Media Distribution System.
Sept 2003 EMI Music Canada becomes the first customer for YANGAROO’s DMDS.
May 2004 Warner Music Canada and BMG Canada becomes a DMDS customers.
August 2004 Universal Music Canada becomes a DMDS customer.
Sept 2004 YANGAROO distributed the debut single "Awake In A Dream" from the new Canadian Idol winner, Kalan Porter, for BMG Canada, Inc. to Canadian radio the instant the winner was chosen on west coast television at 10PM PST (1 AM ET).
Oct 2004 Corus Entertainment, Canada's largest radio operator, agrees to use DMDS exclusively to receive digital music files.
Dec 2004 Signed an exclusive agreement with Billboard Radio Monitor, sister company to Billboard, to promote and market DMDS to the radio and record industry throughout the United States.
January 2005 Received grant of Canada Patent No. 2,407,774 - Title: Content Distribution System and Method.
March 2005 Received endorsement of XM Satellite Radio, the largest satellite radio provider.
July 2005 Canada's largest independent music distributor, Koch Entertainment chose to exclusively use DMDS to securely deliver music to radio and other destinations.
December 2005 Revenues triple for the year ended December 31, 2005.
March 2006 YANGAROO received the grant of its second patent, United States Patent #7,003,670 entitled "Biometric Rights Management System" (“BRM”).
May 2006 YANGAROO signed its’ first revenue generating agreement in the U.S. with Broadjam.com, one of the largest communities of independent music artists and labels.
June 2006 Filed a patent infringement suit for $15 million in damages against Destiny Media Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:DSNY.OB), Destiny Software Productions, Inc. of Vancouver, Promo Only Inc. of Orlando, Florida and Promo Only CD’s Inc. of Calgary, Alberta.
June 2006 YANGAROO and Billboard unveiled an exciting new product to be offered through their exclusive partnership.  Called an “eNote,” this custom electronic promotional tool combines secure digital delivery of songs with a digital advertisement that can include flash (animated) or video content.
June 2006 YANGAROO launched the highly anticipated Mac version of DMDS. 
December 2006 Forged joint venture with Adstream Limited to market DMDS in the UK and Europe.
December 2006 Following two successful pilots, the leading advertising firm for the US music industry, The Gary Group, agrees to work with YANGAROO to develop and market DMDS to the advertising industry for delivery of radio and TV ads.
January 2007 Launched UK market entry with Adstream LLP in London.
February 2007 $10 million dollar private placement of common shares with Sprott Securities Inc. (now Cormark Securities Inc.)
February 2007 U.S. song deliveries grow 500% from Q1 to Q4 2006
March 2007 Reports Q4 2006 revenues up 60% and independent label growth up 159%
April 2007 Warner Bros. Records of Los Angeles chooses DMDS for major U.S. release, the first superstar released via digital only, without CD-Pro’s
April 2007 YANGAROO advances to Tier One listing on TSX Venture Exchange
May 2007 Reports Q1 2007 revenues up 40%
July 2007 Re-branding of company to YANGAROO Inc. (from Musicrypt Inc.)
October 2007 Environmental benefits of DMDS recognized; elimination of waste created by CD's and greenhouse gas emissions caused by their delivery
October 2007 US record industry surpasses over 1,000,000 deliveries of music tracks via DMDS during 2007.
December 2007 Agreement with INDIE911, one of the world’s largest and fastest growing aggregators of independent music, to offer DMDS to its 45,000 artist and label members. 
January 2008 Partnership with Radio and Records (R&R), a Nielsen Company, and the leading music industry information company in the United States, to market and promote DMDS to the radio and recording industries.
January 2008 The number of deliveries made by US record labels via DMDS in 2007 increased by 266% over 2006, to 1.3 million. Fourth quarter 2007 deliveries doubled over Q4 2006.
March 2008 Founded FYIMusic.ca with veteran music industry journalist David Farrell and Gary Slaight, the former President and CEO of Standard Radio Inc. FYIMusic provides detailed reporting on the companies and individuals involved in the creation, marketing, promotion, and export of Canadian music.
March 2008 Intermedia Regional Promotions UK adopts DMDS to send new releases to the UK radio.
March 2008 Launch of DMDSDirect, an ecommerce service that allows the independent North American music community to access DMDS online and pay by credit card.
April 2008 Reports fifth consecutive year of revenue increases as 2007 revenues grow 22%, and year-end cash reserves at an all-time high.
May 2008 Signed agreements with San Francisco based IRIS Distribution, and Los Angeles based A&R Select to provide their member artists and labels with digital distribution of their music to radio and other destinations throughout the US and Canada using DMDS. 
May 2008 The Examiner of YANGAROO’s U.S. patent application states that agreement with respect to the claims in the patent application #10/431,854 was reached and that the application will likely receive allowance.
May 2008 RCA Music Group selected DMDS to deliver the winning song from the new American Idol, David Cook, to radio across North America. Over 30 million viewers tuned in to see the American Idol season finale and over 97.5 million votes were cast with David Cook winning by over 12 million votes.
June 2008 Expanded partnership with Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems whereby artists and labels that electronically send their music to Nielsen BDS for encoding via their Virtual Encode process to monitor airplay, will be offered to use DMDSDirect.
June 2008 Integrated DMDS with the iMediaTouch Radio Automation Software from OMT Inc. (TSXV:OMT). As a result of this integration, iMediaTouch users at over 1,500 radio stations throughout the United States can seamlessly import music and metadata from DMDS.
June 2008 Registered the 2,000th radio station in the United States on DMDS. 
August 2008 Entered into commercial agreements with more than 30 new independent record labels and aggregators to use DMDS in the first seven months of 2008.
August 2008 US deliveries made via DMDS in the second quarter of 2008 double over Q2 2007 to 526,000.
September 2008 The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), the organization responsible for the JUNO Awards chooses DMDS to distribute all music and related promotional materials submitted for JUNO Award consideration to both the judges and CARAS’ members.
November 2008 Integrated DMDS with the MusicMaster Scheduling software produced by A-Ware Software, Inc. The more than 2,800 MusicMaster Scheduling software users at radio stations worldwide can now import new music and metadata available through DMDS directly into their music libraries. 
November 2008 First US major label billed for DMDS usage.
November 2008 Reports third quarter 2008 results - revenue up 31% over Q3 2007; US deliveries via DMDS increase 56% over nine months; Q3 2008 loss down 34% from Q2 2008 loss.
December 2008 Two-year extension of agreement with Warner Music Canada, for distribution of promotional music and music videos to radio, television, press, and other destinations via DMDS.
December 2008 Integrated DMDS with Powergold, the music scheduling software produced by Micropower Corporation that is used by thousands of broadcasters across the globe.
January 2009 Received Notice of Allowance for its United States Patent Application #10/431,854 titled “Content Distribution System and Method” from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
January 2009 U.S. deliveries made by DMDS during 2008 surpassed two million, a jump of 60% over 2007. Canadian deliveries in 2008 more than double with an increase of 120% over the previous year. The number of songs delivered by DMDS to radio, press, and other destinations grew by 90% to 21,000 in 2008.
April 2009 Launch of the next generation DMDS 5.0 platform, adding many new features including support for secure digital delivery of broadcast quality video content such as music videos and television advertising.
April 2009 Despite the severe economic downturn, reports its sixth consecutive year of revenue growth.
May 2009 Grant of United States patent #7,529,712 titled “Content Distribution System and Method” by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), which will be in effect until 2026.
May 2009 Files a claim for patent infringement in United States Federal District Court in Wisconsin requesting that the court issue an injunction against Destiny Media Technologies Inc. and the payment of damages and costs.
May 2009 Dean Ernst, the original founder of competitor’s PlayMPE system and former Vice President of Operations for Destiny Media Technologies Inc. (OTC: DSNY), joins marketing team.
May 2009 Revenues for the first quarter of 2009 set a new record, coming in 43% higher than for the same period in 2008 and increasing 31% over the revenues for the preceding fourth quarter of 2008. EBITDA improved by 33% over the same period in 2008.
June 2009 Agreement with a U.S. based multi-national, NYSE-listed Fortune 500 company to use DMDS to securely deliver pre-release music and audio files from the company’s television shows to custom lists of internal recipients and external destinations.
July 2009 Named to the Canadian Business “Tech 100 in 2009” list, an annual list ranking Canada's 100 leading technology companies.  
July 2009 Partnership with Horizon Media, Inc., the largest U.S. independent media services company with billings of $2 billion, to adapt and market DMDS 5.0 for television advertising distribution in the U.S.
August 2009 SONY Music Entertainment Canada used DMDS 5.0 for the first delivery of a full broadcast-quality music video in Canada  to Montreal-based MusiquePlus.
August 2009 E1 Entertainment in New York (AIM: ETO), delivers first full broadcast-quality music video in the United States utilizing DMDS 5.0.
August 2009 Reports record second quarter results with revenues up 48% and EBITDA improving by 35%.
September 2009 New York based Devlin Video International has been designated as the first Certified Sender for the next generation of YANGAROO’s Digital Media Distribution System - DMDS 5.0.
September 2009 Wins ruling in U.S. injunction case against competitor Destiny Media Technologies Inc.
October 2009 Grammy Awards selects DMDS to digitally distribute music submitted for judging.
October 2009 Marketing partnership with CMJ Network Inc., the largest and most influential multi-media organization focused on U.S. College Radio, to distribute music to the over 500 U.S. college radio stations.
